I want to share my own story of embracing change, reinventing myself, grow, and explore the different phases of life.
Adapting to life’s changes
During my childhood and teen years, my family moved to different cities around the country. Each new city represented an effort to connect with new friends, get comfortable in a new home, adaptto a new town, and even different weather. But leaving my home country and becoming an immigrant was an altering experience that demanded significant adaptation.
Arriving in a new country with a different culture and language was not easy, specially as an adult. Leaving behind my friends whit whom Ishared not only a cultural horizon but also many wonderful experiences of being young motherswas one of the most challenging things I’ve d o n e in my life. Even after 21 years, they remain very good friend. Inow also have beautiful friends around me.
I became a master at adapting to new circumstances, like a chameleon changing its colours.
My love for learning
Studying all aspects of humanity was my passion: anthropology, ethology, sociology, biology. I eventually earned a bachelor’s degree in History. Iimmersed myself in books, exploring topic that fascinated me.
Life had a different plant for me, and I had to leave my homeland, My priorities shifted, and my dream of becoming a historian took a back seat. Nonetheless, I found a way to keep my passion for history alive by working as a tour director and guide for 15 years in my adopted country. My love for history remained undiminished.
